Last month at the Guggenheim Peter Eisenman, our most celebrated architectural theorist, said, “Architecture changes nothing.”

Then last night, at the Center for Architecture, Paul Goldberger, our most well-known architectural writer, said “Architecture makes life better.”

I believe both of them.
